70cl / 52.8% / La Maison du Whisky - This 1995 Glenrothes Over 20 Year Old was bottled by La Maison du Whisky for its Artist series. Matured in a single sherry butt, this single malt has a delicate and complex character, with aromas of bitter orange and dark chocolate that develops into red berry and cardamom. The palate opens with caramel and salted butter notes, swiftly followed by fruity mangoes and persimmons. Malted barley develops slowly and mingles with delicate floral notes in the long finish.
